Dr. Ahmed Kaabneh started his medical journey with GCSE at Bellerbys College, Brighton, United Kingdom in 1995. He successfully completed MBChB in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Edinburgh, UK in 2002. He had done Specialist training in the United Kingdom and completed formal training in Interventional Radiology at the Northern Deanery, where he acquired the fellowship exam from the Royal College of Radiologists in 2012 and was issued a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Interventional Radiology in 2014.

Dr. Ahmed had worked as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, UK. During this, he routinely performed many lifesaving vascular and non-vascular interventional radiological procedures, being lead consultant in several procedures, such as aortic intervention, Gynae intervention, interventional vascular radiology trauma lead, peripheral angioplasty and stenting, dialysis fistula angioplasty and salvage, hepatobiliary interventions, embolization procedures, diagnostic vascular and non- vascular ultrasonography with contrast and ultrasound and CT guided cytology aspiration and biopsy.

Dr. Ahmed has many publications in the field of intervention and had also presented at many conferences. In addition to his clinical performances, he continues to be involved in teaching activities as a Trainer and proctor.
