Dr. Madanat obtained her Doctor of Medicine in 1981 and gained Clinical Fellowship in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology in 1987. She was also awarded a PhD in Endocrinology in 1987. Her dissertation topic was “Lipids and Apolipoproteins indices in Diabetes Mellitus as related to Ischemic Heart Disease”. Then in 1989, she was awarded the Jordan Medical Council Board Certificate in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolic Disorders.

Dr. Madanat has been a Member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) since 2006. She also received a Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination Certificate (MCCEE) in 2009 and obtained a certificate in Ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid gland in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in 2014. She was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE) in 2015, Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Furthermore, she has more than 11 published articles in renowned medical journals and has been a reviewer of articles submitted for publication in several medical journals.

• Comprehensive care for patients with diabetes, which includes annual assessment of control and screening for diabetes related complications i.e. to the eyes, kidneys, peripheral nerves of the hands and feet, and heart
