Dr. Haiju Chirayath received his Endocrinology training at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, part of Oxford University.

He obtained his PhD for his research on diabetes in pregnancy, after conducting research in the largest Maternal-Fetal health laboratory in Europe, at the University of Manchester. Dr. Haiju completed both his MSc and Post-Graduate Diploma in Diabetes and Endocrinology from the University of London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP-UK) in London and also holds the Specialist Certificate Examination qualification in Endocrinology from the Royal College.

Dr. Haiju received his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Endocrinology after working in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. He also holds the MCCEE qualification from the Medical Council of Canada.

He created a website to help patients successfully manage their Endocrine disorders such as weight gain and diabetes. Dr. Haiju has written a book entitled “Review of Diabetic Neuropathy” which was recently published in Germany. He has spoken at many international conferences such as the American Diabetes Association scientific sessions and has also published numerous research articles in the field of Diabetes and Endocrinology.

Dr. Haiju has over 20 years of international clinical experience and has worked in world-renowned medical institutions and universities in UK, Canada, UAE and India. He previously worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in UK. He was head of the department of Endocrinology at Kelowna General Hospital, Canada where he was an Assistant Professor in the department of Endocrinology at the University of British Columbia.

He is fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi and Urdu.
