Dr. Mehmood Butt is a Consultant Cardiologist and the Director of Cardiac
Catheter Laboratory at King’s College Hospital Dubai.

He is also a Post Graduate supervisor for the Cardiology Masters
programme at South Wales University in Wales. Dr. Butt received his
post-graduate training in England & Wales. Dr. Butt is a CCT certified
specialist from General Medical Council in Cardiovascular Medicine and

He specialises in the Radial-based approach for Cardiac Cath procedures for
painless experience, allowing same day discharge. He has performed
thousands of angiography/Cardiac Cath to-date procedures. In addition, he
implants complex cardiac devices such as pacemakers and ICDs. He had a
busy clinical practice at hospitals such as John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford and
University Hospital Wales, Cardiff.
