In the beginning of his career Dr. Richard Knebel worked with mainly younger people till 1994 who were working in sports and athletics. Later on Dr. Knebel noticed that the elderly people were suffering more and more because of osteoarthritis and this suffering had pain on their quality of life. This attracted Dr. Richard Knebel’s keen towards hip osteoarthritis and knee osteoarthritis.

Dr. Richard Knebel has been working in the United Kingdom since 2004 on hip and knee replacement surgeries also he worked a little bit on hip fractures.

It brings joy to Dr. Richard Knebel to see people who were hardly able to walk are in a much better condition after the operation as he believes that all though osteoarthritis is common but it should not mean one should end their life with osteoarthritis.
