A medical graduate from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, Dr. Avanish Arora went on to do his MS in General Surgery from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and his M.Ch in Urology from Mumbai University. He is a Diplomate of National Board in Genitourinární chirurgie and General Surgery and has done his MRCS from the Royal College Of Surgeons Edinburgh, UK.
He has worked as an Assistant Professor in urology at KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and has done his fellowship training in advanced Laparoscopic Urology and Laparoscopic Urooncology from leading institutes in UK and USA. Other fellowships to his credit are Hargobind fellowship, Birla Smarak fellowship and Eagle Endourology fellowship.
Dr. Arora’s speciality lies in laparoscopic urology, laparoscopic urooncology and advanced endourology. His laparoscopic expertise includes laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic simple, radical and partial nefrektomie, laparoscopic pyeloplasty, laparoscopic adrenalectomy and paediatric laparoscopic urological procedures. He is trained in robotic radical prostatectomy and also has extensive experience in all endourological surgeries and reconstructive urology.
He has many publications and presentations to his credit and has keen involvement in urological education and research.
