Mr. Omotayo Ojo attended College of Medicine, University of Lagos where he graduated MBBS. He trained both locally and internationally and obtained MRCSEd, FMCS (Nig.) and FWACS in Neurosurgery. Mr. Ojo did various fellowships and training in different parts of the world under notable and excellent neurosurgeons. He did fellowships in Neuro-oncology at Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia under Prof Andrew Kaye, Neurovascular (Prof. David Mendelow) and Complex spine at Newcastle General Hospital (NHS) in UK. He was also WFNS adult fellow (Microneurosurgery vascular and skull base) at Tubingen, Germany under Prof. Marcus Tatagiba.

His area of interest includes complex spine surgery, Microneurosurgery/Neurovascular surgery (Aneurysm, AVM), Epilepsy surgery, transsphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumors, and skull base tumor surgery.

He is the convener of Lagos Neurosurgery Course, which runs yearly to train neurosurgeons and improve the outcome of Neurosurgery in the region. He is also a National faculty to AO Spine (West Africa). Mr. Ojo was the immediate past  Secretary General of Nigerian Academy of Neurological Surgeons (NANS),  and the current  President of Nigerian Spine Society (NSS).
