Kate Middleton: Debunking Plastic Surgery Rumours

Despite the recent popularity and general acceptance of cosmetic or plastic surgeries and facial enhancements in many parts of the world, there still exists some stigma for some people, especially women going under the knife to enhance their appearance and beauty. Duchess Kate Middleton has always been beautiful, accompanied by a grace in ageing, which gives the impression that she is ageing backwards, which has led to speculations on whether she has undergone any cosmetic procedure. Although surgeons do not think that the duchess has gone under the knife, some believe that she has had some quick injections that are aimed at keeping her face as vibrant and stunning as it always is.

A top British plastic surgeon had claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge uses Botox, hinting that she is a client while displaying some alleged “before and after” pictures of the royal to promote the procedure.

Dr. Munir Somji, of the Medi Spa Clinic in the London cosmetic surgery capital of Harley Street, posted the images on his Instagram account but later took them down. He wrote “Our Kate loves a bit of Baby Botox” under two pictures of the royal “In this ‘before’ picture, she looks tired and has wrinkles. The mother of three looks flawless and radiant in the ‘after.'” Note the reduction of fine lines on the forehead, but also note the depression of the medial brow but the elevation of the lateral tail of the brow”. While the surgeon’s post had amassed some warm reactions from some of the spa’s followers, other followers did not take kindly to the speculations.

Denver-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Manish Shah, who has not treated Kate, also agreed that he believes she has had some Botox injections in the same area of her face, stating that he was pretty sure that Kate had neuromodulators, like Botox, put in her crow’s feet area. She doesn’t wrinkle at all, even with her beaming smile”.

What has the Palace said about these claims?

The Palace quickly shut down these claims by the surgeons by quickly releasing a statement denying that Kate had had any type of work done. The Palace said that the post was “categorically not true” and “in addition, The Royal Family never endorse commercial activity,” according to a statement to the New York Post. After the Instagram post caused a major issue, the Spa marketing manager Sammy Curry explained why Dr. Munir Somji posted the comparison photos. In July 2019, he told The Times, “He thought it was a good comparison picture to use to show the effects of baby Botox, which he does himself.” He said he merely wished to demonstrate the metamorphosis that it can produce, as well as how it can be applied subtly and with great anti-ageing effects.”

People admire Kate, not only for her elegant style but also for her Royal beauty, and due to her undeniable charm, these qualities prop her to be an excellent contender to succeed the current Queen of England. However, is it the fact that the ever-beautiful Duchess of Cambridge is walking with an “all-natural beauty?” Beauty guru Lorry Hill thinks otherwise. In her recent YouTube entry, the Las Vegas-based fashion and beauty vlogger shared her thoughts on Kate Middleton’s ageless beauty. Lorry gushed over the 38-year-old Duchess, saying “wide and sincere smile, voluminous hair, and athletic figure.’ She expressed her belief that Kate’s makeup and styling make a huge impact on her overall appearance.

Kate Middleton’s Nose Job

In the UK in 2012, Kate Middleton’s nose was the most sought-after celebrity nose job. While the Duchess’s nose looks very proportioned to her face, there still exists a lot of rumour and speculation that she has had multiple nose jobs. Nonetheless, after careful consideration of her looks over the years, it can be concluded that the Duchess’s weight played a role in the appearance of her nose.

Airing her opinion on the issue, Lorry Hill said “Sometimes, weight loss tends to change the look of the face, and that can sometimes fool people into thinking that the nose has changed when in fact, it is the same shape and size as it has always been.” When it comes to the Duchess’ body, the beauty guru said that the 5-foot-10 royal beauty did not undergo anybody cosmetic procedure and claimed that her thin figure can only be due to stress.

On another note, women want Kate’s nose specifically for several reasons. One woman said it was because Kate’s nose was angular and worked well with her face. A New York psychologist agreed with her, saying that women sought Kate’s nose because it was a hard-wired evolutionary preference. Her facial symmetry is aesthetically pleasing by nature.

One surgeon commented that though Kate’s face was very pretty, it wasn’t perfect. As a plastic surgeon, he claimed to value each person’s distinct facial features because they are what define beauty. It is also noteworthy that the Kate Nose Job phenomenon is not limited to the United Kingdom but the United States as well. This has led to some surgeons commenting that to get Kate’s look, many women need to get more than their noses done. In order to have Kate’s nose work on their face, they might need a chin, brow, or cheek adjustment too.
